Long story short, I came into possession of a beat up little Marlin model 60 .22 rifle. When I first got it (wish I had taken some pics) the idiot that had owned it before had wrapped a leather belt (not even a proper sling) around the barrel and magazine tube and tied it off at the stock. This bent the tube a bit as you can imagine. I cleaned out all the gunk and got one of the ATI Dragunov stocks to put it in to make myself a nice little plinker. Go figure, I'm in the military and I dig pistol type grips.
Anyway, referencing my last post, while I had the Duracoat out I decided to go ahead and do the Model 60 as well. Nice thing about holiday weekends is there is actually time to do these things.
Again, pics will be forthcoming as I finish these projects.
