I thought the use of the word "tactical" by manufacturers had finally reached an end after what seemed like an eternity. Every manufacturer and his brother was producing matte-finished handguns and rifles (which of course cost less to produce than those with good blued finishes) and getting more for them by calling them "tactical."
Just when I thought the craze was over, I came across information about Mossberg shotguns, including the Tactical Turkey model.
How exactly can turkey hunting be "tactical?" Do turkeys hole up in sheds, and dynamic entries are required to get them for Thanksgiving? Do turkey hunters use flashbangs? Are flanking maneuvers required? What about body armor?
Note to manufacturers: enough already!
